After updates, this app completely takes over the computer. Took over 1/2 hour to get uninstalled.
The Weather Channel Desktop is no longer available and The Weather Channel App is incompatible with the latest WinXP updates.Summary
I really liked The Weather Channel Desktop. I normally do not put backgrounds, cutesey cursors, etc on my computer because they slow the system down. However, I found TWCD very useful with the icon in the tray. It showed temperature, very useful and flashed alerts, also very useful. I am going to miss this application.
The update also tried to load on my netbook, but was too large for the screen. I had to kill it
If you use either a netbook and/or WinXP, do NOT install this app. -
