From Black Bear Software:
The Watering Hole is the twice-weekly webcomic of O'Reilly Media, the folks who bring you all the technical books and geeky conferences you know and love. It follows the O'Reilly animals, such as Pearl the Camel and Ruby the Jackel, during their off time when they're not behind the camera doing cover shoots.
The Watering Hole has been described, not entirely inaccurately, as "User Friendly, but with animals..." Typical strips might take a swipe at the RIAA, bemoan the latest round of Apple missteps, ponder the potential evilness of Google, or follow Ruby's attempts to do a DIY LHC. And of course, Microsoft is always fair game.
The Watering Hole app for the iPhone lets you read the current strip, either at full size with scrolling, or by turning the phone, shrunk down to fit in landscape mode. You can move back and forward through the strips, either using buttons in portrait mode, or with finger-swipes in landscape mode.
