A great recreation of the Bard's Tale series. Lots of added elements to combat.
I can live with the minute+ load time (I played the original BT trilogy on a C64) but I'm never sure if I have hit a key with the lag time in the guild. I'm not sure why there's so much lag in an XP game (and a small one at that), but it's too annoying and I've long ago lost patience for this kind of lag.
Great game, same controls as Bard's Tale (i=forward,j=right,l=left,k=kick) and develop your party carefully. Independent gamer's site has all the dungeon maps just like PC RPG classics. The combat system is much more tactical and seems to be based on the rolemaster system. Lot's of monsters to fight and takes real strategy to build your party up to survive the dungeons (basically three of them with a total of eight levels). Highly recommended.
Takes about a minute to load because I think there's lots of resources -- but it's relatively small (less than 5mb to download) so it's worth it. Take a look at the manual and the city map if you get lost.
Hard to know what you are supposed too do.
It would not load and locked my computer down not once but twice. My computer has run much more involved games without trouble.
Highly engaging, party-based, 80's style, rpg updated with richer combat and skills system. Very playable, challenging, maze style dungeon crawler.

If you hate the game give it 1 star. You should give the reasons why you didn't like it.
