Version: The Shield Deluxe 2009 v2 12.0.12
"Customer service non existent. Product has limitations"
Pros: I thought that the product did a good job until I was infected with personal antivirus and could not get rid of it. The product obviously was not functioning as I thought.
Cons: Computer slow. Message frequently that the shield deluxe did not load. Called for service to explain problems and they did an error check on my computer and then tried to sell me a 250.00 diagnostic program. Uninstalled it and am using avg free. .
Summary: while using the product I thought that it protected my computer. Howevr, i had personal antivirus loaded accidently by a family member and could not get rid of it. It is a virus that tracks all your transactions, according to what I had read. When I called for help they were only interested in selling me the 250.00 diagnostic program and did not address my problem at all. The error log on my computer, that they used to support the purchase was not even valid.
