Version: The Print Shop Essentials 21
"All that work for nothing!!!"
Pros: It's easy to use, easy to import files into program and has lots of templates.
Cons: It's in .doc format which means not a single other program will open it. I spent hours making a brochure, saved to a disc and now no freakin' body at the printer can open the **** thing!!!

Hey! Don't despair! Download CutePDF Writer. Then, when you select the print option, you choose CutePDF Writer instead of your default printer. You can go into Properties and select the right paper stock/size and whether it's color or B&W. Then select print and .... Voila!! You have a pdf of your project that most printers SHOULD be able to use. I use this for CreataCard & MS Word all the time. I hope it works for you. CutePDF Writer is great to have even if it doesn't work for The Print Shop Essentials 21. Good luck!

You can save it as a differant type file, you can transfer it to microsoft word, or you can print it. You have a fair amount of options it doesn't seem you considered.

Once your work is done, and after you save it to the .doc format, resave it under "Save As" and you can select what you want the format to be and if that doesn't work, you can export the document into any format as well.

I refuse to even try a Broderbund product. I installed one on my computer once and more or less had to agree to let Broderbund and all their friends bombard me with ads. Most of what I paid to buy on the CD, I had to download, along with ads, from the website. That was the reason I bought the CD, to avoid the ads. Now I find that I can not remove it from my computer. The only program that Windows Add/Remove feature will not remove.
