"Very nice, becomes even better with time spend with it."

Pros
Look-and-feel are a bit disorienting at first, but the more time I spend with it the better I like it. Am replacing both OmniFocus and Things with it. (My needs are relatively modest, but it seems very capable indeed.)
Cons
This 1.0 release has been slow in coming, the developer has been largely unresponsive to pleas from otherwise happy users of the beta version.
Summary
Have had no problems with its reliability; I'm quite will to rely on it. (Hey, I do back up all my work anyway. MidTMike, did you??) If I could give it a 4-1/2 star rating I would do that.

"Horrible Software"

Pros
I always liked the way the Hit List worked and it was easy to use.
Cons
They do not tell you that each time they Force an update, ALL of your past lists are deleted from the database. When you contact them for help and support, no responses are given. Do NOT use this software.
Summary
If they knew how to support the software and they stop forcing updates that delete all your information, perhaps it will be 2 star one day. But, currently, they are horrible for support and they deleted years worth of my work. Horrible company and horrible software.
I finally heard back from them and they were able to fix the problem that day. So, I am back to being happy with this program again and would change this to a 4 star for the program but a 2 star for support as it took months to get this fixed.

Easy to use.
Cons
I enjoyed this product until they did a force upgrade. Once that happened, I lost ALL my old tasks. I had spent over a year getting all them in place and they were valuable. I sent e-mail to their technical support and never one response.
Summary
I lost all my data and even though I had a paid license, their tech support does not respond. Horrible support. Horrible Software. Do not buy this program.

There aren't words to express how many and for how long I've been test driving task management tools for Mac OS X. To date none of them have been good enough to keep me from test driving every new planning and tracking-related application that shows up for the Mac; a seemingly futile search for a tool that actually leverages the killer features of Mac OS X and does so intelligently. I have wasted WAY too much time tinkering with tools in the hopes of finding a usable, helpful feature set, tools which include the following:
- OmniOutliner (Kinkless)
- OmniFocus (oddly enough the one I anxiously awaited, paid for and have since thoroughly ditched! As a fan and advocate of OOP and OGP I have no idea how they botched this one so horrendously )
- Things (?vapory-ware?always making promises using ?eventually??)

- Pluto Menubar
- Ready-Set-Do!
- ToDoist
- Tadalist
- meinKOPP
- Frictionless
- Thinking Rock

Thanks to The Hit List I will not waste another second of my finite lifespan test-driving task management tools. I stumbled upon The Hit List accidentally having otherwise never seen or heard a peep about this unsung Mac app. For the first time I found myself sitting in front of a Mac-based activity planning and tracking tool that had me smiling. An application that today helps me manage all of my activities without getting in my way. The granular control available for organizing items into strategic viewing sets that are personally relevant is nothing short of awesome! This is a great example of the Apple-esque tandem of elegant simplicity and power in action. Combined with the Anxiety HUD application my workflow is impeccably fluid.
What?s more? The Hit List feels feature complete and it?s not even at 1.0 yet. Note that I haven?t tried the iPhone sync capability yet so I cannot comment on whether it?s solid yet or not. But everything else is definitely on the level. This is the real deal folks, and about damned time!
