Version: The GIMP 2.4
Pros: it is a good program and does a lot- I've used gimp for a long time and this one is a slight improvment.
Cons: a bit tricky to learn-not overly user friendly

Version: The GIMP 2.4
Pros: I have been using GIMP forever. Nothing has every gone wrong. But since it is based on the Linux OS, it can be a bit confusing. I got version 2.4 since it came out on October 24th, (not the 26th) And everything has been great!

Version: The GIMP 2.4
Pros: its is brilliant...with the new addition of the tools, Gimp is one of the most powerful photo editing tools...my personal favorite is the new foreground selection tool where we can select the part you want easily...the new alignment too is also beautiful...over all for me this receives a 5/5
Cons: not easy for photoshop users to adapt to it....for that check out gimpshop

"Great tools for users with some experience"
Pros: Lots of features, more than lower end commercial products.
Cons: Difficult to learn, requires patience to understand.

Version: The GIMP 2.4
"Looks good when I opened it but I have not had time to use it Yet,"
Pros: The Software looked good when I opened it after the download but I have only had the GIMP for about one day so I have not had enough time to use it fully. I do not have anything good or bad to say since I have not really used it yet.
Cons: I don't like how soon CNET asks for an evaluation of Software Just Downloaded within the first 24 hours of downloading the software. More Time is needed so that I can get some digital photo's or other items to use this software on.
