Publisher's Description
From PassMark Software:
TestLog is an integrated test case management system. It provides a tool for test teams to create and update effective test cases. TestLog places a large emphasis on requirements management, as inefficiencies in this area are among the most serious causes of slippages, setbacks and even failures in the software product development life cycle. It encourages a structured approach to the use of test plans emphasising the reuse of test cases.
What's new in this version: Version 3 build 1029 fixed a bug with the insert new test case option where a case sensitive comparison was being used which could prevent the test case being inserted and a bug where if a list report could not be created due to all results being filtered out a blank report could be created.

"We use this software for 4 years now, and it's the best"
Version: TestLog 3 build 1012
Pros
Easy to use, compact, keeps all the test cases together. No more huge word documents with the test cases scattered throughout network.
Cons
have not found a feature that I do not like.

"Elegant Design, Simple to Use and a Fantastic Value"
Version: TestLog 1.7
Pros
This system really provides bang for the buck. I work for a non-profit organization, and we have a fledgling SQA Group with little (no) defined budget. This tool is inexpensive, but it delivers all the functionality that we need to organize our test suites, create test plans, and keep track of the status as the testing progresses. After we have finished a test iteration, we are able to export test results and status reports to the web (managers love that!).
Now, with the latest release, we can customize the lists of values associated with test phases and types.
