Version: TestDisk & PhotoRec 6.10
Pros: Fast, easy to use, works well.
Cons: Not GUI which might scare non-techs, but simple to use and instructions straight forward.
Summary: This is a great tool! I had to recover a friend's flash drive that croaked and gave the dreaded unmountable\unrecognizable drive, would you like to format. I tried the drive on XP\Vista\Win 7\Linus\Apple and even Dos and all failed. I searched for... read more

Pros: Got all the deleted data back for me in a short time.
Cons: The user interface could be done more non-tech geek friendlier, but with a little time and help from the Tom Merrit video its easy to work with.

Pros: *Helped us recover 1000+ pictures while other programs failed
*It's freeCons: No graphical interface (not too much of a problem IMO)

"Recovered my lost partitions!"
Pros: Worked like a charm! Costs less (free)! Good online documentation.
Cons: I agree with one of the other posts in that the dos based interface is not the best or most user-friendly but if you read the online documentation, it walks you through the process pretty well.
