"Surely error-free Copy"
Version: TeraCopy 1.1
Pros
Finally, a program that ensures an error-free copy of files!
Cons
Does not support UNICODE or 16 bit characters.
What's the use of registered context menus ("TeraCopy...") if the Paste command itself runs the program?
Annoying "Always On Top" and "Activate when finished".
Needs option for changing preferences. -
"Easy skip of duplicates, no more path too deep errors"
Version: TeraCopy 1.1
Pros
Don't have to spend any more time watching large lists of files copying and manually overwriting or skipping files that already exist in the directory or have errors.
Able to copy files that previously gave error 'the path is too deep'.Cons
Would be nice to be able to chose what directory copy report goes to.
Summary
Much easier than Windows XP copy function and automatically replaces it if you want.

"GREATLY improves speed of explorer in Vista"
Version: TeraCopy 1.1
Pros
Software does exactly what it states it does. I have experienced a huge improvement with file transfers in Vista. I personally like Vista - no boo's - but Vista explorer is slow as hell as shipped.
Cons
Zero. I have not had 1 problem and I put this app through the paces.
Summary
This is a no-brainer. Get TeraCopy! It makes Vista explorer about as fast as XP's explorer. This tiny app has addressed my biggest gripe with Vista so far - slow freaking transfers! I have not experienced a single bug nor lost any data.

"Ok for local file transfers, no good on remote transfer"
Version: TeraCopy 1.1
Pros
Simple to use
Cons
When transferring the file it uses message blocks of 16k. When transferring over a WAN it would be great to be able to tweak this as latency combined with the low block size limits the throughput.
Summary
Good for local file transfers, poor for remote file transfers. I'm guessing that local transfers is the original intent. If your looking for a fast way to transfer files across a network (WAN) this is not the app

Cons

"TeraCopy"
Version: TeraCopy 1.1
Pros
Amazingly fast copying from one HD to another. Saved me tons of time that would have otherwise been sent "babysitting" while windows copied the files and asked me when it encountered a system file or stopped in the middle because of a "missing" or "corrupt file." You don't have to babysit this one, it skips over the bad files so you can deal with them later.
Cons
No complaints here!

"Powerful, easy to use, much better than Windows' default handler"
Version: TeraCopy 1.1
Pros
Smooth interface, user friendly, powerful, solves Windows' copy/paste problems such as terminating on error, etc.
-
"Pretty handy."
Version: TeraCopy 1.1
Pros
Pretty handy if you need to copy/move files in bulk.
Cons
The "Add Buttons" button for the Total Commander Integration option on the Preferences dialog box is grayed out. Why? How to use it then?

"Excellent explorer integration & file transfer is very fast"
Version: TeraCopy 1.1
Pros
In windows vista, there is a known issue that when we copy big folders with many files & when transferring files across the network, the copy will be extremely very very slow.
I was seraching for an alternative file transfer software when I stumbled upon this one & it is really cool.
With fast multi-threaded copy/move operations, the best part i liked about teracopy is it's excellent explorer integration.
No need to open any wizard or go through multiple dialog boxes. Just use the copy/paste commands in windows ( or Ctrl+C/ Ctrl+V), teracopy automatically takesover copying.
