Tempo displays your calendar appointments from various accounts in one app. Through its modern and minimalistic design, it shows you useful information like the local weather, driving directions, any files or phone numbers attached to your meetings, and even background information on the people or institutions associated with the event.
Background info on your contacts: When going to an event that is attended by people you don't know, Tempo lets you familiarize yourself with them by looking at their LinkedIn details, their Facebook and Twitter posts, and general news available on the Web.
Driving directions, travel times, and running-late messages: As long as your events have an address attached to them, Tempo can give you driving directions and calculate transit time. If the math doesn't add up, and it appears that you're going to be late, the app asks you to send a canned message notifying the other attendees of your situation.
All popular calendar views: The app supports five calendar views: month, week, day, list, and agenda.
Four email limit: You can only connect up to four email accounts. There are presets for popular ones like Google, Exchange, Outlook, iCloud, and Yahoo, and you can also set up your own.
If your work involves meeting with new people regularly, an app like Tempo may prove indispensable because of the additional background information you are provided with. And if your meetings are conducted remotely, features like automatic extension dialing for conference calls and displaying documents linked to the event and current contact information add even more value to it.
