  When it works, it's very helpful

  Cons

  Unfortunately, it no longer works, and destroyed the functioning diagnostic disk that I had created. When you click on the download link, it sends you to a product page and if you select any of the purchase options you get a 404 error.

  Summary

  It was good enough when you could get it, but it appears that Micromat has killed it.

  "Leopard Compatible? Sort of ...."

  This claims to be Leopard compatible. You can RUN the app on a Leopard system and create images while doing so. However the image that is created is only v10.4.9 of the OS (Panther). Plus, the version of Disk Utility that it puts on the partitions it creates is v10.5.8, which is also a Panther version.
  
  I don't have one of the most recent iMacs or MB Pros ti test on, but I would imagine that the newer Macs which can ONLY boot under Leopard, could not be booted from the images this tool makes.
  
  I great idea and concept, but not implemented as well is it could be.
