"AMAZINGLY-Satisfying is the Juice."
Version: TeamViewer 5.0.8703
Pros
Near-instant client that works even before the Windows logon screen comes up.
Tasks're a breeze even at 128 kbps. File-Transfers take the cake! I got an abnormal 300 kbps while moving a Movie file from my home to a friend's place, 900 Kms away.Cons
Switching between various modes is a pain! File Transfer, Desktop Control etc all are separate tasks requiring a log-off before switching Small annoyance, but present!
Summary
All travelers/multi-PC-users *MUST have* this one installed on their Home PC. Even if there is a Total-Computer-Illiterate person at home, you can still work on your home PC without removing the Windows Password. Just the power needs to be switched on. Either you carry all the Home content on to your Laptop and / External Hard Drive or use TV. I am totally satisfied with this one.

"Completely amazing."
Version: TeamViewer 5.0.8703
Pros
Works exactly as expected with no surprises or hick-ups. Free for private use (on the honor system). Options to run via thumb drive without install, U3 drive, or website based in addition to installed software makes it ultra accessible on the road.
Cons
I haven't found anything to dislike. It's perfectly executed.
Summary
This is PERFECT for the geek who wants access to his home system while on the go. You can run their software from a thumb drive or U3 drive, run it within your internet browser from their website, or run it from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch. I am very savvy and use this to repair relatives computers when they goof it up. As long as they can get connected to the net, I can log-in to help fix it. Even people that don't live very far away, much more convenient to troubleshoot from my bedroom in my PJs then drive over and waste an afternoon in someone elses house.

"East and Effective"
Version: TeamViewer 5.0.8703
Pros
Unbelievably easy to set up for the PC Illiterate. Mom was able to just get my invite via email and install presto fasto.
Cons
Nothing at the moment.
Summary
I still cant believe it is free. I hope those who use it for business are "playing fair". You can easily remotely log in and access what you need to. An essential.

"Excellent, best free remote program"
Version: TeamViewer 5.0.8703
Pros
Simple. Works well. Great features. Free. Secure and safe.
Cons
Although I could not get sound to transfer, I assume that may be due to driver issues since my microphone doesn't work either.
Summary
Does NOT remove your firewall like some other reviews seem to say(it uses outbound connections to avoid it, like FireFox/InternetExplorer/Chrome does.) Nor does it infect you with viruses. Best program out there for this that is free.

"Works great"
Version: TeamViewer 5.0.8703
Pros
Easy to use and works well with Windows 7, consistant and no crashes.
Cons
Slower than Log Me In.

"It works with my Ubuntu + Windows setup!"
Version: TeamViewer 5.0.8703
Pros
Works instantly;; free; cross-platform compatibility.
Cons
None really
Summary
Af first I thought that if my Windows machine had Remote Desktop active, that this would be enough to receive my request with team viewer on my client PC (Ubuntu Linux), and that was my wrong. This software needs to be installed on both ends (the client and the server; I know this sounds stupid, I just didn't think of it). Once you do that, it works beautifully.
