After about 45 days 4 different users at different locations all began losing LAN connections to internet.
Summary
2 users use Kaspersky 1 Mcafee and 1 AVG (Anti Virus) did not come up with viruses so that was eliminated. All 4 users when we looked at the Device Manager under Networking had the card titled as "Team Veiwer VPN". When Team viewer was removed it deleted the Network card connections and had to reinstall them all. WOULD NOT USE AGAIN.
Well the product worked initially but then took over and disrupted devices. So I would advise not using it. -

Summary
I just got a new computer and I am transferring all the files from the old one to the new one as I am writing this review on the old one. I never give anything a perfect score, but this free software does as well as better than anything else out there at any cost.

Easy to load. Works with IPhone. Does just about everything as if you are in front of the remote computer. Much better than VPN and pcanywhere.
Cons
Connection breaks frequently but that could be the IP provider.
Summary
Some have complained about malware, trojans, and other cyber attacks, but I find this program to be safe. Don't leave your network open and password protect everything (that is password protect teamviewer and password protect your computer and even your sensitive information). Change the default Teamviewer port and only allow access to partner id's you know. All those options are available and with antimalware and antivirus program, you should have no problems.
This program has definitely saved me a lot of hassle. I have two remote computers that I can fully control and it saves me a lot of time. To make things even better, I added Smartlink Insteon power plugs that allow me to turn power on and off to the computers in case they crash (if the remote computer freezes than Teamviewer cannot reboot it). Now I have absolute control over these computers.
Again, for those worried about security, set the security level on Teamviewer to "whitelist" and only give access to trusted partners. And then password protect it as well. -

Summary
Not sure on the vunerability to worms and trojans but i am taking warnings from other users who have reviewed the software seriously.
So I gave installed on a Virtual PC hd with a backup so any signs of viruses I delete the drive and use the backup. This way my PC stays safe and virus free. -
