Publisher's description
From Contact Plus :Task Plus keeps track of an unlimited number of personal tasks, holidays, and repeating events (such as birthdays). For each task, it allows you to insert a date, time, category, description, and alarm. You can drag and drop tasks from one date to another, or you can drag tasks from the Task grid to the Undated grid. It includes more than 230 preprogrammed international holidays for more than 20 countries. It also includes options that let you export to a comma-delimited file or HTML page.
Version 3.8 includes new quick keystroke abbreviations for fast data entry of common phrases, a new spelling checker, and better category support. The program now includes the ability to play MP3 files on alarms and has better Web-page-generation capabilities, the ability to clone tasks, snoozing alarms, and Jewish and Christian lunar calendars for the holidays.

Version: Task Plus 3.89
Pros: Easy to use. Intuitive. Effective. Spartan interface but I like it just fine.
Cons: Banner ad up top, but hey I guess they have to pay their bills. I will prolly end up registering to remove the banner if I find myself using this over a long period of time.

Version: Task Plus 3.89
"Ugly but extremely functional"
Pros: Simplicity! plus all the functions I need, such as entering tasks for any combination of days of the week (Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, for example), and it's simple and easy to set them up by simply clicking on a box for each day you want. I've tried a bunch of these and some have much prettier interfaces but they are either too complicated (time consuming) to set up new tasks or lack functions I need. This is the simplest and most functional one I have found and I would have given it five stars except for the interface--see Cons.
Cons: I agree with the other users who say the interface is ugly. However, it can be improved somewhat by choosing alternative fonts and removing shadows from titles etc. Looks like it was designed by someone from the 1930s, but I'll put up with ugly for the virtues noted above.

Version: Task Plus 3.89
Pros: I know this program since the early days of the internet. I was using for a while and then moving to another program, and then going back to TaskPlus...
Always was coming back to TP. Why?
Simply - it has the most and the best features of all other similar programs.
Alarm/remind feature is probably TheBest.
The calendar with integrated notes, tasks...etc is superb.

Pros: It has all the basic functions
Cons: Ugly, doesn't have intuitive layout of other similar products (I like Quick to-do)

Version: Task Plus 3.89
Pros: It works fine- good, stable program. And of course, it is free...
Cons: Poor interface. There are much better ones around; and they are free, too. Try Essential PIM for one.
