Version: TakeNote 0.4.5
"It works some though not very useful"
Pros: It lets you use it, and it can be a way to input notes/organized stuff into txt or html documents with formatting.
Cons: It's not much more useful than doing it in a word processor.
Summary: I kind of expected hierarchical outlines. That was what I was after. So it's not one I'll use after all.

Version: TakeNote 0.4.5
Pros: Didn't really work so I can't say. But I don't think it's really finished enough to evaluate.
Cons: Crashed when I tried to add several folders in a row, lost my work on my first try.
Even if it worked, it doesn't seem to allow for hierarchical notes, just folders which can't hold folders and notes which can't hold notes.Summary: It's not finished. I'm a programmer, and I know a half-done piece of software when I use one.

Cons: I'd like a very simple contact card system and (birthday) alarm, along with the notes. But the notes are the important part.
Summary: I need to keep LOTS of notes and I refer to them often, to stay organized. I've been using notes programs for years so I know exactly how I like to use them and why. I think more people would use note programs if they were organized as well as thi... read more >>
