"Only available on windows"
Pros
Easy to use and for the most part very helpful tool. Works great on windows. It does what it does very well.
Cons
It doesn't work native with OSX or Linux systems. While it is very simple to create very good quality AIFF files that should be very accurate, it is a pain to switch operating systems to do so. As smart as the program is, it still can only put out what goes in. Some of the fingering positions seemed odd to me.
Summary
It's a pretty cool tool, but it's not the end all be all.

Update. I did spend the $30 to get the full version and some of the upgraded items are pretty cool. Additional problems: I can't for the life of me get the proper tunings to work. On a particular song that is a half-step flat the program just doesn't seem to care what it's set for. There is a mechanism for changing tunings, I just can't get it to work.
Absolutely no possible way to incorporate legato slides, hammer-on/pull-offs, natural or pinch harmonics from a midi file.
All in all, if you want to learn to play a few songs that don't have many wrinkles in them, this is it. But it's not a substitute for formal training or teaching.
