Pros
Nice product. Adds alot of functionality to Firefox. The crash recovery is a nice feature, because data loss in a crash is one of the more pesky pitfalls of internet browsing.
Cons
It often confuses the simple tabbing system of firefox. It also has bugs, extending the tab bar, or shrinking the tabs themselves when you havnt asked it to. To be honest, the tab system in firefox is as neat and simple and functional as it needs to be. This extension just confuses things.

If you only install one extension, this is the one to go for. You won't go back to Firefox without TMP again.
Cons
Most TMP features should be in Firefox and may appear over time.

Pros
I am a very recent fan of firefox, and beleive me when I say I am a fan, I have hardly even considered using IE after discovering firefox. And so it was but natural for me to add these amazing extensions to the browser which have just added more value to my browsing experience. This is one of those extensions which I feel is at the top of that value chain I was talking about.
Cons
Yes...coming to the cons...before i added this extension, it was almost like my system had no idea that something called firefox was even utilising its resources because it is so lightweight. But after I installed TMP the memory utilisation has simply shot up (at times occupying almost 75 MB of my RAM). This of course is due to the fact that it offers to remember so many things like your "scroll position". So if you properly tune it to the settings you need, it definitely will take some burden off your RAM.

Tab Mix Plus is a good one. It helps you do much more with tabs than Firefox does. Great for advanced users.
Cons
But somehow I still like Duplicate Tab more. It is pretty easy and does the thing which most of us want with tabs i.e. duplicate the backward links.

"Firefox's best tab management extension"

Pros
Before I used TMP (Tab Mix Plus), I have used TBE (Tabbrowser Extension) for a long time and thought it was the best before I met TMP. But after I used TMP, I changed my mind.
TMP was a lot easier to use than TBE. It suits novice users perfectly as it has a nice user interface on its Options page, as opposed to TBE's advanced look. But judging the fact that TMP offers what TBE has and MORE, why would you bother with a hard to use Options page?
So, here are the facts for TMP:
Easy to use, easy to setup, intuitive interface (you'll want to put the Closed Tabs List and Closed Windows List to the toolbar as soon as you install this because you'll be using those two buttons very much if you have an intensive browsing habit like me, trust me), offers a heck lot of features and usability you'll want to see in a tabbed browser and it comes with a great session manager unlike TBE's.
