"WOW!!!"
Version: TVU Player 1.5.12 beta
Pros
I did not belive it till I saw it...real p2p tv feeds. Amazing. It works pretty well also. I would personally like a bit bigger viewing area but hey, its beta and there are limitations to bandwith. All in all fantastic.
Cons
Screen to view is smaller than I'd like, it does take a bit of time for the screen to "settle". Again, it is a beta and overall outstanding. wishing for more channels!!!

"Broken VLC ripoff"
Version: TVU Player 1.5.12 beta
Pros
Easy to install and start up fast. Promises ESPN and HBO but I can only hear sound.
Cons
I got sound but no video. I can't find any help whatsoever. No FAQ even. Sound is playing very smooth but all I see is the VLC logo so the codec has compatibility problem. So, what is the actual requirements? Waste of time.

"Thi... ...ftw... eally, reall..."
Version: TVU Player 1.5.12 beta
Pros
If you like "fill in the blank" games you will love this! It broadcasts many of the words, and some percentage of the image, too! Actually, on its low resolution channels it works ok. It should reduce all pictures to low res!!! Most channels are Chinese. It has Univision and America's ABC, ESPN, CNN and HBO. Forget about viewing HBO -- you get about three words, miss about ten, picture gets garbled. And, there are only about 10 - 15 ppl viewing each channel.
Cons
The software takes up space on your computer and doesn't serve a purpose!

"I like the concept of the product"

Cons
not enough choices of channels in english,CNN poor quality image, cannot hide channel menue or maximise the screen.

"Nice option when everything else fails"
Version: TVU Player 1.5.12 beta
Pros
- It's free :)
- Offers some valuable contents (soccer WC obviously, but also HBO)
- takes a little while to stabilize the image (about a half minute or so), but then it's pretty good and stable quality (I have 4 MBit Cable though, can't comment on slower connections). HBO streams in very good and stable quality for me.
Cons
- No documentation, or at least I haven't found any
- Therefore unclear how to add/remove channels for customization
- Weird CMD button/text box which looks like a debugging remainder
- Close button often doesn't react. Killing it via task manager works instantly though
- No resizing/full screen option that I know of
