Cons: It more suited for Asians cause most of the channels are asian channels hopefully more channels will be available

    "Great, one-of-a-kind product"

    by NickMets7 on August 6, 2006

Pros: This is really an awesome program. It lets you watch lots of channels, inlcuding ESPN, CNN, and more! The quality of some channels is fantastic. This is a great alternative to a TV tuner or SlingBox. Get this, and you can save a few hundred bucks!

Cons: Well, a couple of channels upload a little choppy, but usually once you have been uploading the channel and connecting to it for a minute, playback is generally very smooth and of surprisingly high quality for most channels.

    "Pretty good! For 'net TV!"

by DAKz on September 11, 2006

Pros: I have tried several of the internet TV programs, and most are complete junk, some have nice interfaces, and do not work at all. This program is an average interface and while it only has a few channels, they are channels you watch! ABC,NBC,FOX,CBS,ESPN,HBO are all in there video quality is not the greatest, but it is as good as any ohter net TV. Buffering does take a while, same as any other net TV, even with a high speed connection (mine is 8m) it is either going to get it or not, it it don't load up then close it and restart, just like any other, the only thing that sets this apart form the others is the channels, it's great to keep up with football, news, etc. while your doing real important stuff like e-mailing Mom!

Cons: The whole net TV thing is 10 years behind this program is no exception, the windows 95/98 interface is proof of that. The images can be really bad at times, but I see no fault of the program in this, it is solid, stable easy to use.

"All in all, not bad at all."

by DeepCosmos on July 6, 2006

    Pros: Nice, basic GUI.

Does not require you to download third-party software such as RealPlayer in order to watch the streams.

    No annoying advertisements and such.

No waiting in line in order to watch a stream.

Cons: As mentioned, it does somewhat lack a variety of channels.

It takes a while to buffer (but in my experience, one it does it doesn't constantly have to keep doing it).

It would be nice to see a wider selection of channels and maybe more features such as being able to record the streams. But for the less lazy of you, there's software available which allows you to do so.

If some users are experiencing connectivity problems and opening ports does not solve it. Try disabling ICS (Internet Connection Sharing). For some reason unbeknown to myself, that seems to solve quite a few issues (especially with FTP clients and such). Just a suggestion.

    "Better Than expected"

by John Krumm on June 23, 2006

Pros: My daughter and I watched World Cup soccer last night using this, full screen on a laptop. It's a bit fuzzy, but seems to work pretty well if you leave the channel open for a while (it takes a minute or two to get downloading properly). I just wonder where the source is. Somebody's Slingbox?

Cons: No real cons. The low resolution can be expected.
