"Great, one-of-a-kind product"
Version: TVU Player 1.5.12 beta
Pros
This is really an awesome program. It lets you watch lots of channels, inlcuding ESPN, CNN, and more! The quality of some channels is fantastic. This is a great alternative to a TV tuner or SlingBox. Get this, and you can save a few hundred bucks!
Cons
Well, a couple of channels upload a little choppy, but usually once you have been uploading the channel and connecting to it for a minute, playback is generally very smooth and of surprisingly high quality for most channels.

"Ok"
Version: TVU Player 1.5.12 beta
Pros
a few good channels
Cons
I have crappy verizon dsl internet so I'm only getting between 10 and 60 kbps, the image appears "zoomed in" and on my 1600 by 1050 widescreen moniter it appears very small and of poor quality but it's probably to conserve bandwith..I recommend this for a few good channels but that's it PERIOD and it has no cutomizable features that I saw.

"good but run faster dangit!"
Version: TVU Player 1.5.12 beta
Pros
it actually has american stations i can watch... not 90 million stations with english subtitles like the rest... or from the far reaches of the universe... cartoon network?? disney?? effin awesome... its about time i didnt have to be forced to watch old reruns of popeye cartoons that are obviously falling apart, or 60 different religious stations.... peers need to add a cpl more stations like sci-fi channel or get in league with spike tv... another kewl thing is the station "hollywood" movies... it shows a LOT of movies with actual stars in it--in english with asiatic subtitles of course---however theyre movies i have NEVER seen or even HEARD of before... thats effin awesome too
Cons
**** this thing is slow!! i have yahoo dsl and this program worked fine within the first few days after i downloaded it... after about 5 days everything is choppy... no matter whether i have 100% buffering or not...i'm not sure if it matters how many peers are watching or what, but too much start/stop time for my taste...and why is it that the dang screen wont expand?? is this part of the "beta" experience??? why have that little square button in between the minimize and close button for expanding the screen if the effin thing wont work???? that's ludicrous....and whats with that construction cone in the middle of the screen when i first turn it on?... is this program under construction or destruction???

Pros
It runs clear once the channel has buffed to 100%. My favorites are HBO, Cartoon Network, and the Disney Channel.
Cons
It takes a while to connect and buff to each channel after clicking on them, but once it's done it runs clear.

"Overall a good FREE product"
Version: TVU Player 1.5.12 beta
Pros
Has some good channels that you pay for on Cable/Sat. Video quality was good too. Can not really complain since its free.
Cons
Buffering takes awhile even with good, fast internet

"Useless"
Version: TVU Player 1.5.12 beta
Pros
You get HBO and ESPN in a choppy manner.
Cons
This is simply useless. If you want TV on your PC get a card that allows you to do so and splice your cable to your PC. If you don't have cable, search google for free internet tv. If none of those give you what you are looking for, try this rubbish.
