"Fun and Challenging for an Intelligent Audience"
Pros: Despite the negative reviews of this game by others, I found the game to be pretty enjoyable. Yes, the game offers below par sound effects when compared with other games. It has a simple black and white display with a few different pictures that appear depending on the type of show you are broadcasting. What makes up for the lack of sound and pretty visuals is the game's addictiveness. It's just fun being able to be in charge of a tv station and broadcast a wide variety of shows, depending on what you want people to watch. It also allows you to advertise for companies that will pay you money if a large enough audience watches your shows. It's also pretty complex. You must broadcast certain types of shows with certain elements for a certain age group at a certain time of day to get good ratings! This is all a little confusing at first, but luckily there is an online guide available for the game for free. May I conclude this review by saying that you will be DISAPPOINTED if you want good visuals and sound. This game is more for adult/intelligent individuals who do not need a pretty display to find a game entertaining. The complexity of this budget game is what should drive you to play it, not the visuals. But if you feel like your interested, TV Manager will give you a semi-addictive, fun, and entertaining game that is definitely worth a small price. Give it a try.
Cons: 1. Price- 19.95... That's a pretty steep price. Look for TV Tycoon on amazon.com or egames.com (Tv Tycoon is basically the same exact game as TV Manager and made by the same guy, egames is just the publisher and they sell the game for only $10)!

Cons: Black + white, not enough selections of programmes, trial defintly not long enough for you to decide whether you would buy the game.
