Windows memory mapped files are the ideal way to instantaneously share large quantities of data between different applications or multiple instances of the same application. TMapStream is a Delphi wrapper for memory mapped files. It has methods and properties similar to native Delphi TStream components. The demonstration application shows how TMapStream should be used. This version is the first release on CNET Download.com.
