Version: System Shock 2 demo
"Excellent game"
Summary: This is, quite simply, the scariest PC game of all time. With that said, Let's get on to the review. SS2 combines elements of the best RPG, shooter, and horror games. The game begins on the Von Braun, where mutants have taken over. As you begin to explore the Von Braun in search of a way to kill off the creatures, you realize how frightningly lifelike this game is. You hear distant screams in the distance, most of your crewmates have either commited suicide or been muilitated. You begin to feel helpless. Alone. and in my opinion, any game that can make me truly horrified, is a masterpiece. The other great thing about SS2 that I like is it breaks away from the Doom-ish mold of most shooters today, and creates a new standard for shooters and RPGs alike.
