"lack of features"
Version: System Scheduler 3.41
Summary
1) Windows 2000 Task Scheduler is considerably more powerful with respect to scheduling options. 2) This freeware version won't run as a background service. 3) I'm still looking for a good freeware alternative to Windows 2000 Task Scheduler, which craps out sometimes (apparently, this is a common problem). If you have any recommendations, please email me.

"Great with some interesting options!"
Version: System Scheduler 3.41
Summary
I was looking for this kind of software to run perl scripts at every hour to update my web page. When I ran the Windows Scheduler with win98, there was always a annoying console popup every time the script was running and using this software, there was an option to run the program in "hidden mode", no more popup! There is even an option to send some keystroke to a program after it is started, can be a very interesting option. There is two minor problem however, there is no menu, there is only icon on the top of the main window, so you have to hover your mouse on top of them to learn their meanings. Another thing, when I selected to run my script "every hour", the advanced option for every hour set by default to run it every minute instead, ugh.

"A little gem"
Version: System Scheduler 3.41
Summary
I use it to run the autodownload feature and the liveupdate feature on InoculateIT and Norton 2001 respectively. Far superior to the scheduling agent on Windows 98. A must have.
