"fixed my pc"

Pros
i tried every thing after a spyware attack that spy sweeper didn't remove or trend micro i tried every thing, this is the only program that seemed to fix it.. completely fixed the registry files that were damaged and fixed my computer is pretty much back to normal again
Cons
the downfall is i found this program at walmart for 19.99 on here its 45.00 bucks go to the store people

Pros
It does seem to speed up my PC as well as find any spyware. Most of the software is easy to understand. It gives you the overall fitness, health and security in regards to you PC's condition. Then options to fix each of the problems.
Cons
That they didn't ephasize the dangers of deleting some of the duplicate files, being a novice I accidently deleted files unknowingly that caused my windows to crash. So some of the tools in here are definately for advanced users! My PC won't even boot up trying several techniques through Dell's Techs. I have to reinstall everything again. This is really due to my inexperience in trying to delete some files I thought were just a waste of space. I shouldn't have even tried it. Not sure what the outcome will be yet. A bit costly! Also I am going to loose all my files and have to restore my PC back to day one! So I really can't even give it a complete review until after tomorrow. When the software from Dell is suppose to arrive and I find out if my PC will ever be the same...

"I really wanted to try this application."

I checked it out on line. Looked at the other reviews and my curiosity almost got the better of me. It sure looked like it might be good.
Cons
But, it from the "iolo Technologies" home page it wanted me to register. Then it told me my email address was not valid. It is! Then it wanted me to download a "tiny download application" and I did. As soon as I tried to download the installer. my security software went nuts. "Kaspersky Firewall" wanted to block it and "Counter Spy' warned me that it wanted to change my startup registry. No way! I'm not willing to chance this. It might contain adware. I'm not sure but I'm not willing to take the chance. To bad. I thought it might be a good program.

"Great all in one system utility plus antivirus"

Pros
Fixes HD errors, cleans out clutter, viruses and scans incoming email for viruses. It fixes Registry errors and defraggs both HD and Registry. Slim down start ups as well as recovery. Anyone that rates this software less than four star works for the competition, which is getting slapped by System Utility. This is my second year with this utility and it works great sorry you two guys from Norton
Cons
System Mechanic's some HD defragger works faster than all others, but cant someone make defragging faster.

I've used System Mechanic since SM 4! Last used SM 6
Cons
When I updated to SM 7 it caused my Windows to crash and I had to RECOVER Windows XP! When I contacted Tech Support they did try to help, but there needed a lot of manipulating to install SM 7 over SM 6! seems the UPGRADE was NOT able to completely REMOVE SM 6 from Windows XP! I have not tried to install SM 7 since. Perhaps it will INSTALL if you do not have a Previous version of System Mechanic!

Kept getting error message when downloading, file missing. Also coulld not uninstall all parts. There are still pieces that will not unistall. Hate I downloaded this program.
