Intuitive, fast, loads of individual cleanup tools which can be used one by one or as a suite
Cons
Defragmentation tool reminder keeps cropping up even though in the options box I have specified that I do NOT want to be reminded. In any event I do not believe the narrative showing level of defragmentation.

I have tried every program on here trying to fix this thing. This is the first that has actually done the job.The other 'more popular' programs didn't come close.Anyone running older equipment, this is a MUST HAVE!!!!!! This pute used to take 1/2 hour to start and over an hour to shut down.Now it's working at a tolerable level. Windows Doc just sat there running loops and the rest ran away with their tails tucked.If you are having problems with it,you need to have Mommy wipe your nose and get you a Playschool unit that you can understand. Everything is up front and self explanatory and real easy to use.It has fixed everything that I've asked and some I didn't know about.
Cons
The only con is that in 25 days I will lose this program. Being on S.S. does not allow for an expenditure as this.
Summary
Now if they just build one to handle that screwed up Windows Internet Explorer, they would rule the WORLD !!!!!!!

Compatible with 64 bit systems my ass.Gave my ultra high speed PC a brain haemmoragh.It will basically hijack all your system settings(including security ) & decide arbitrarilly how to maintain your PC.Could NOT completely uninstall-I now consider this an extremely hostile program.
Summary
I reccomend you sue the bastards for damages if you've experienced similar dysfunction with this garbage program. Get this...Dell recommends this program!!! Do they not physically test on 64B systems before touting its wonderous performance?

Running System Mechanic on my computer has been like having a computer repair expert right inside the PC! I had several very unstable computers that no matter what I tried with all the other programs out there, nothing seemed to resolve the issues. Then I found System Mechanic! It is such an easy and SMART program and includes just about every type of repair that you may need in addition to having clear and easy to read on-screen gauges. It diagnosed and resolved my issues in minutes; it is very fast and thorough. One of the best parts about this program is that you can use it on all your home computers, not just one. Finally I have a found a quality product that works as advertised!! This is YOUR repair expert!!

Summary
I can choose for example de-fragmenting to just quickly regain some memory clear clutter and the ease of re-aligning files. Plus many more features that I can use without fear of doing the wrong thing.

System Mechanic has several aspects to it. It keeps checking the system to make sure that there are no trojans,viruses,etc... If You want to- You could run the sys-mechanic several times a day.
Cons
I haven't noticed any difficulties with my System Mechanic so far.

In my opinion. If There are no complaints, It must be a good thing.

Don't waste your money on this 'highly rated' piece of crap. And don't believe reviews - not even the ones on this site - except this one. Believe me, everyone involved with this internet rating scam is getting paid to separate you from your money... and you get nothing in return. Call a friend, or your local repair guy next time you want a recommendation.
