Publisher's description
From Ilient :SysAid is software for organizations' IT (Information Technology) departments. It provides asset management, automatically scanning the organization's network and listing its machines. SysAid provides details on each machine (its hardware, software, history), and lets you remote control it. SysAid also provides help desk, letting end users use forms to submit service requests (error reports or calls for assistance). In Version 3.1.3, all e-mails and service requests have the added option of a Spell Checker; the Dutch language is now supported and we have improved support for Unicode databases. Several bugs have also been fixed.
Note: The free version supports two administrators and up to 100 users. If you require larger capabilities, please refer to the developer's website for pricing information.

Pros: As director of IT for a non-profit, this is one of the best assesst management tools, that i hace come across. Not only does it allow you to track assessts across netwroks, but also incorporates a helpdesk feature which is easy to use.

"Valuable asset to any administrator."
Pros: I am the IT Administrator of a large construction equipment company and have about 92 users across our network. This software has added a level of support that we have been waiting for. I love the overall funtionality of the product. I can tell at a glance what hardware a pc on our network has and what software it has installed. The remote desktop feature is a bit better than the one installed with Windows XP Pro And the SysAid client really made my job easier by giving user the abilty to submit help requests and screen shots. This is great software.
Cons: Haven't found any cons yet.

"Excellent combination of Asset management and Help Desk functions"
Pros: Flexible, easily customisable interface. End-user help-desk portal built in. Can run on a variety of database backends (incl MS SQL). Database Schema is available, so you can create your own queries or fo bulk updates. Support is very helpful. Link between asset base and help-desk is very useful.
Cons: Interface is a bit naff-looking. Reporting is a bit limited (but you can create your own if you know what you are doing). Documentation is adequate, and could be improved.

"Excellent Help Desk Software"
Pros: Asset Tracking, Software Installation Tracking, can use it to monitor security updates, Does alot of the task that a costlier help desk program does. Cant say enough about it RUNS on a XP BOX.
Cons: don't like the fact that when I did a restore from a previous restore point that the files were over written and lost some tracking files.
