Pros
I have used syncmate for sync of my old samsung i900 with MS Outlook. Now I have a brand new Galaxy s2 and syncmate is perfect for android. I'm happy that my samsung can be synced with macbook pro as easy as with windows 7.

Don't have background autosync feature

Trial version doesn't sync images so I had to purchase expert version, but I do not regret about the purchase - it works flawlessly

I can finally have appointments, contacts and images synced between my mac and mobile. I can be sure my data is safe, while other analogues I tried were very unstable and deleted photos and appointments

Pros
Finally I can sync my mac with mobiles using one app. Tired of installing separate apps to sync each phone (Android and iPhone)...
Cons
synced contacts only, haven't tested other options.
Summary
Syncmate works fine with my new Galaxy Nexus and iPhone, I sync them wirelessly with my Mac. I moved contacts from my Address Book to mobiles successfully. I wish you guys add iCloud support one day.

"nice way to sync calendars for free"

Pros
what I love about syncmate is that it syncs appointments for free. I do not need all of those extra benefits of expert edition right now, but there are several features that make me thinking of purchasing paid version.

I needed something that would work across all my devices and sync my calendars in a seamless way without having to fiddle around with things too much and
