"Not for me"
Version: SyncBack Freeware 3.2.26
Pros
Easy to install and set up.
Cons
Not versatile enough.
Summary
Does backups fine at the folder level, but I could find no way to include/exclude specific files in the backup copy.

"Great Software"
Version: SyncBack Freeware 3.2.26
Pros
Fully customizable, you can use this software to do anything you want. The interface is great as long as you're an intermediate computer user. I'm glad they don't try to over-simplify.
Cons
Not too much to improve. The logging and post-sync report could be a little more functional but it's good enough for free.

"Outstanding Quality Product"
Version: SyncBack Freeware 3.2.26
Pros
-Extremely intuitive interface
-Extensive functionality
-Simple to synchronize 1 way, the other way, or both ways
-Comprehensive reporting
-Simple to use scheduling
-Background sync uses very little processing power (you don't even know it's running unless you check it)
-Optionally "simulates" synchronization so you can see what the results will be before you actually execute it,Cons
None Yet but if I run across anything I'll try to update this review.
Summary
-I created 6 "Profiles" & scheduled them to run weekly
-To start synchronization I went with keeping everything from both PC's ("combine")
-After that & based on root directory (my vids, my docs, etc.) I chose which pc was the master (the one that can add, delete, & change files) & which pc was the slave (the cloned copy to store)
-It works superbly for my home network in that I have a notebook PC that I download files (pics, videos, edit docs, etc.) & now it auto syncs to my home network PC server, which is basically a HTPC on Windows 7 running Media Center & other packages. That way I have a backup & with the mirrored directory structure I can use it to access music, pictures, etc. to play on my LCD TV.
I've used many backup/sync programs over the years (being a network administrator too) & this one is the most intuitive I've seen to date. The price isn't bad either. I'm thinking about going to the Pro version & exploring the additional options, like email backup to Google's cloud. Use it, you won't regret it. -
