"Synchronization tool that didn't duplicate my calendar."

    October 7, 2014  |   By Mitess

    Version: Sync2 for Outlook 2.50.2574

    Pros

Synchronize everything. No need to add data manualy. Saves lots of time. Using between my PCs and my Galaxy. Have tried other tools, none of them worked clean without duplicates, since I have started using Sync2 I do not have any duplicates at all. Really appreciate this soft.

    Cons

This field should be optional, because I don't have what to write here.

    Version: Sync2 for Outlook 2.50.2574

    Pros

    Easy install and setup
    No glitches....so far!
Doesn't take up a lot of resources.

    Cons

If you have a lot of items to sync it can take a while not unreasonable

    Summary

Researched several products for syncing my Outlook Calender with my Google Calender. Sync2 seemed to work the best.

    "Beyond terrible"

    September 18, 2014  |   By dhbaird

    Version: Sync2 for Outlook 2.50.2574

    Pros

Some of the package works. Only one time it totally destroyed my contact list with 2500 duplicates, triplicates.

    Cons

Operationally the biggest problem I had was it's failure to copy all the archived messages to the same folders on the main server. But that problem was nothing like the terrible experience I had lately.

Had a catastrophic failure of the hard drive on the laptop. After trying to re-install the Sync 2 software I received an error message saying that I had to upgrade. All I wanted to do was reinstall the program I had already bought.

Tried calling support. No answer. Emailed and they said that my "support" had run out and that I needed to upgrade and pay them for the program all over again. They said that if I had de-authorized the laptop it would be no problem. How do you do that with a hard drive crash? This policy is nothing less than hostage taking and amongst the worst customer support I have seen in a long time!

    Summary

I have been a developer myself and beta tester for other developers for Windows apps since Windows 2. In 30 years of interacting with vendors and developers I have never been treated so coldly than by this company.

Don't give them your $. Don't reward people for terrible customer relations or youi could be next!
