Version: SurveyGold 8.0
"Far better than Adobe LiveCycle Designer."
Pros: Simple and intuitive interface. Excellent integrated web survey system. Reasonable price. Built-in data analysis tools, and able to export data to Excel and other data analysis software.
Cons: Upgrades between versions (SurveyGold 7 to SurveyGold 8, for example) are not free, but they are reasonably priced.
Summary: It took me two hours in SurveyGold 8 to accomplish what it took me two weeks to accomplish in Adobe LiveCycle Designer. SurveyGold 8 is intuitive and easy to use, while remaining flexible. The web survey system is excellent.
The creators of SurveyGold 8, Golden Hills Software, offer superb customer service and support for the software. Working in a government institution I ran into several problems that most users won't have, such as issues with firewalls. Golden Hills Software offered me quick, courteous, and personalized support for my peculiar problems.
I highly recommend this product to anyone who needs to create and distribute surveys.
