Pros
Has the ability to store notes and view them (along with their sources) either in outline or as individual or stacks of "electronic note cards." The cards can be rearranged as your research deepens. It is the best such program I've found since the old Three by Five program was absorbed into Final Draft.
Cons
Cannot directly transfer notes into word processing programs.

Summary
As a writer, I never had the chance to see my desk not flooded with paper cards until this software comes in. Not only it offers a handy card view, but it allows to link each card with my plots (and shows small stickers on cards to reflect those links). A real gem for writers, professional or not.
