    "Good product, but there's better"

    December 6, 2011  |   By calfrovi

    Version: SuperFast Shutdown 2.0

    Pros

    Works. That's most important.

    Cons

has no GUI, this confuses computer novices. Icon goes missing sometimes. Has the default visual basic 6 EXE icon which is not professional. To be honest I would recommend trying xetoware's fast shutdown, http://www.xetoware.com/fast-shutdown.html, it's much better, but that's my opinion.

"Warning this is a force shut down software"

    May 7, 2011  |   By FETROOM

    Version: SuperFast Shutdown 2.0

    Pros

It does as it states, force shut down windows. This is w/o saving anything

    Cons

It closes thing to pulling the plug, or holding the power button while windows is operating. (Dosen't hurt the Win or the computer)

    Summary

It does as it states, force shut down windows. IF YOU WANT TO SAVE ANYTHING, SHUT DOWN WIN NORMALLY. If you have Win 7 & you shut down the system it gives the option to force shut down, somtimes. It warns it will not save anything if you use this.

    "Allows quick restarts or shutdowns"

    January 14, 2011  |   By chemsherm

    Version: SuperFast Shutdown 2.0

    Pros

Saves time when you need to restart after installing software or updates.

    Cons

At times, when using fast restart, some programs do not boot normally. I'm not sure if it is a problem with fast restart or particular programs.

    "Fast But Flawed"

    July 5, 2009  |   By alexbarbelmania

    Version: SuperFast Shutdown 2.0

    Pros

Easy Installation, Attractive icons Fast Shutdown

    Cons

Does not save any settings so if you make changes they will be gone on reboot

    Summary

At fist I was impressed with this programme as it delivered very fast shutdown and was very easy to use but then I found the price I had to pay for such speed. Initially I moved the desktop icons for the programme to the right of my desktop but on reboot they were back on the left. Then I placed them in the task bar but on reboot the quick launch area failed to show although I had just set it to show. I then did a conventional restart after remaking the changes and, hey presto ,everything was as I had set it. So if you do make any changes at all to your system then don't use this programme as it will not save those changes.
