"A must buy product"
Version: SuperDuper 2.6.4
Pros
Low cost, good support, very useful product, does what is says, easy to learn.
Cons
I never had problems with the product.
Summary
If you can afford an external HD, this product is a must buy considering the low cost and the time you will save if your main HD goes down. You can create an automatic schedule to backup you HD. You can easily test the backup HD by starting from it. You can also check it by using programs like DiskWarrior or Techtool which will tell you if the backup is good to go. I have tested the product over and over with different versions of Mac OS and it works fine. It saved me a few times.

"Great backup program and potential time saver."
Version: SuperDuper 2.6.4
Pros
Makes a bootable backup on a schedule you set. A complement for Time Machine, not a replacement.
Cons
None that I have found.
Summary
SuperDuper makes a bootable backup, unlike Time Machine, although not as often, so use both. If you need to repair your hard drive, boot from your SuperDuper clone rather than an installation disk or DiskWarrior disk--the clone is far faster and you can run Apple's Disk Utility, DiskWarrior, or any other repair program from it, saving gobs of time. Well worth the modest purchase price.

"The newer update works very well."
Version: SuperDuper 2.6.4
Pros
Excellent program for intelligently backing up your files. The previous versions had some problems with hangups on my computer but the last version worked well.
Cons
See above concerning earlier versions.
Summary
Highly recommended for the purchased program.

"The BEST backup program I've encountered"
Version: SuperDuper 2.6.4
Pros
EXCELLENT support by developer. Ease of scheduling.
Cons
None come to mind.
Summary
An excellent "compliment" to Time Machine with its archive capability. When I go on a trip, I do a final backup and pocket the 500 GB USB external drive and know my data and programs are safe, even if somebody breaks in and steals my computer.
-
"effective and efficient"
Version: SuperDuper 2.6.4
Pros
Easy to use and very efficient
Cons
kinda slow but it works
-
"Reliable, trouble free, quick convenient total back-up."
Version: SuperDuper 2.6.4
Pros
Always current, great support, good history.
Cons
Can't think of any.
Summary
My whole life seems to be on the computer, what with photos, events, applications, documents, etc. It's nice having the security of a dedicated drive with everything backed up. Big drives are so inexpensive that it is foolish not to have a mirrored back-up. I like that permissions are always repaired for the back-up.

"easy to set up and use"
Version: SuperDuper 2.6.4
Pros
After the initial backup, it's easy to do updates.
Cons
I don't like the fact that it deletes stuff already back up.
Summary
This is my main back up system because it is bootable.

"My Favorite Application"
Version: SuperDuper 2.6.4
Pros
Just makes perfect backups like it is supposed to. I keep 3 different weekly clones plus Time Machine on an external firewire drive.
Cons
None that I know of
Summary
I think all Mac owners should have this.

"Vital application for my Mac"
Version: SuperDuper 2.6.4
Pros
- Runs automatically & in background on my chosen schedule
- Creates a bootable backup on an external driveCons
- None noted.
Summary
SuperDuper and Time Machine create two separate backups, which I keep on separate partitions on an external hard drive. The SuperDuper backup is for when (not if but WHEN) my four year old internal hard drive eventually fails. Since SD creates a fully-bootable backup, when the internal failure occurs, I can be back up and running in just a few minutes. After the internal is replaced, a restore is all that's needed to return all files to where they belong.
I've used SD for four years and it has NEVER failed. -
"Would not work on my G4"

I have bunch of friends who love it!
Cons
Will not work on my G4 OS 15.8
Summary
Wonderful my friends. No choice for me.
