  "Good antispyware product, terrible memory management"

  Good antispyware detection and removal.

  Cons

  Ridiculous consumption of memory.

  Summary

  I like this antispyware application, it does a good job of detecting and removing the garbage that can infect/infest your computer from the internet. But I wish they would address the MASSIVE amount of memory consumed by their application. It's not so much a problem with the newer computers which have an ungodly amount of memory installed, but for older XP computers SAS can consume ALL of 512mb of RAM and want MORE. SAS seems to do fine with a gb of memory installed, but any less than that.....
  
  When will they address the massive amount of memory consumed by SAS? -1/2 star for being a memory hog. -kd5-

  THIS IS MALWARE. THIS IS NOT THE ORIGINAL PRODUCT! There are several thing added to it. A couple of things erased.

  "Wow, so many different thougths of you guys about SAS!!"

  For me it yesterday took away Babyloon Toolbar, as have been away of use, but stucker in my PC.. I have heard other people said the same about the Babyloon.. But this SuperAntiSpyware found and took away it, the last peace of it.. yeahhh happy.. but I had forget that I had it, it was a time since I got it. But it even found a Trojan, calling Trojan Agent Gen - Dun Dun. As my Avast did not have felt.

  Cons

  I have Avast for Free since many years ago working in the background, it is like an old friend, you know..!!

  Summary

  But this, SAS, was the first and only Spyware-program i Downloaded yesterday, and will keep it, because I trust it when it find the Babyloon, as I knew I had, but could not get it out of my PC. So it was a strong proof to see what kind of Anti-virus program it is!! And do any of you know something about the Trojan Agent Gen-Dun Dun.. what it is made for to do?? Would be very interested if some of you could write the answer to me here in my Review. Thanks and regards from Marianne, in Stockholm,Sweden..

  "If you upgrade to Professional, cannot go back to Free!"

  Works well as long as you do not upgrade to Professional...You cannot go back to the Free eddition...Even after uninstalling and reinstalling!

  Cons

  If you upgrade to Professional and then go back to Free after a year, cannot update the product's files and features. I even removed it and downloaded a fresh instance and still could not update or scan manually. I then removed the program again, then scanned registry and found an entry still pointing to superantispyware. Cleared that erro and downloaded again...still cannot scan. Same results after several attempts.

  Summary

  For many years this did a fine job. After a few years, upgraded to Professional and I liked the automatic updates and scans. One year, I decided to go back to the Free edition and that was fine. After a couple of months, responded to a "Nag" for discounted Professional and upgraded again. After that year's subscription expired, decided to go back to the Free edition for a while. That was a few days ago. Now, cannot update the product's files and features...period...ever!!!
