A great video
I had trouble beating the game let alone like this. I think he had a bit too much time on his hands but this is astounding.
entertaining video, shows you possibilities for the Super Mario game and ways to speed up beating it
THe guy who made this used an emulator and played the game frame by framed or in another way that made it possible to do the insane tricks that he does
This was very impressive; there is no question that this took hours of practice.
The continuous jump that eventually leads to "1UPSs" is true even in the OG console.
On other commentaries, some confused "secrets" with "cheats" which is allowed, if not encouraged (i.e. fireballs, invincibility, flutes, glitches, etc...).
For the gamers who still remember the grey 8-bit/ 1.79Mhz/mono sound from the 1980's watching this is a treat.
Right away, however, one can tell Mario's speed is too fast. I tried doing this on the original NES (still have it) and the game goes much slower.
What is not hard to believe is that this guy may have used an emulator to correct his mistakes, but I have not read his website, nor can I read Japanese.
Now go do something productive and as impressive with your lives :).
its beyond words it was just amazing watching it i was stund i learned a couple things even i didnt know it is worth seeing
this is to fyrewolf! despite the fact that the guy uses flutes to skip worlds, the fact of the matter is that he begins the game at the start and manages to put the game away in 11 mintes solid! the fact that he starts at the beginning of the game and defeats the last boss at the end means that he does indeed complete the title in this time! to any of you out there watching this, this is truely astounding, you have to see this, you will be quite shocked!!!!!
no cons, just pure genius and a lot of time spent perfecting those timed jumps for 1 up's, what the ****!
i like everything its so funny !! download !! everything in perfect timing... btw if you have n-gage games please message firstname.lastname@example.org (i have some games 2 exchange btw which r legal)
how i think he cheated if he didn't great going !! (because how did u record it ?? easy an emulator where u can cheat)
Pretty entertaining, you can learn a few cool (if not basically impossible) tricks. An 11-minute time killer.
I think that this video was proven to have been created through an emulator. Hence the absolute perfect execution and the constant mocking through near death.
