"Great finder, annoying function"

Pros
Does pretty much everything it's supposed to do, and is easy to use.
Cons
It has the really annoying habit of starting when windows starts. I have disabled this several times, but it seems to enable it on its own. Even though I otherwise like the program, I find this lack of respect for my preferences so annoying I will now unistall it.
Also, it could have supported a broader range of patter reckognision, with more wild cards etc (regex support would be great). -
"doesn't search by date"

Uses British format and doesn't find by date. When I searched "after such and such date" it gave me the whole directory. I thought they had fixed this bug.

I often need to find files and folders but windows 7 search does not work. Before i found this program I was seriously thinking of going back to windows xp.

It works like the XP search program. No fuss. Just tick the boxes at the top to choose file and/or folder then do your search. It's a lovely present for Windows 7 users.

There aren't any.

I was so sick of not being able to find files with the stupid Windows 7 search function that hogged my computer indexing files yet couldn''t find a file under its nose, that I investigated the possibility of an independant program doing the job and found this great little program.
