DVD CHAPTER CREATION IS VERY DIFFICULT
Summary
This might be okay for home videos, but don't waste your time if you have to add chapters. My old burning software allowed you to scan through the video and click at each point that needed a chapter. There is no way to do this in this program. You have to select the chapter cuts in your editing program and then numerically enter the time markers in this program. Guess what - they don't match up! HOURS OF WORK AWAIT you adjusting this as you must go back to the chapter menu, enter another numeric value, save it, and look at the chapter menu to see if is now the right point. The program doesn't save anything. If you want to load your own photo backdrop, you will re-do this step every time. If you want to use a certain font over and over, you can't save that either! Each little label requires you to re-enter these parameters over and over. I an so sorry I bought this without trying it free first.

It failed to recognise my dvd rw,, i used a new computer and it said the conversion type is wrong,, i thought it was supposed to convert nearly all the files out there,, i bought this because i had a Pirated version on my old computer which worked fine,, i go and buy the legitimate version (twice,and it's supposed to be a lifetime software and update) and it doesn't work

Works great on x64 Windows 7.
Nice, easy to understand interface. It recognizes HDTV files and will down convert to VOB. Now I can put those huge files on a 4.3gb DVD. Woo hoo!
Went from 8.45gb file to 2.45gb file.
No audio/video sync problems.Cons
Takes awhile to convert HDTV files but look at the size and frame rate it has to convert. Could be faster. Wouldn't recommend on older computers, basically takes the same time of the HDTV video to convert.. a two hour show takes two hours to convert.
Summary
This is the only product I've found that does a decent job with HDTV files other than Nero and others that cost major bucks.
People that rate on the 5 minute trial version don't know what they are missing IMO.
If you want to put your HDTV recordings to disc then get this. Great quality video after conversion.
I used the discount link shown under other comment here. No problem. Used PayPal to be certain I wouldn't get taken. Almost half price.
You have to read the instructions. Can't apply code to the trial version, have to uninstall trial then install the full. Then enter registration code.

Noticed it recognized and converted HDTV files even with the trial version.
I took a chance and pulled the trigger at the discount site. Glad I did!
Just saying this is better than some of these comments lead you to believe.
