Due to a rather serious trial limitation, this CD-burning application strikes us as strictly average, if even that. Besides audio CDs and DVDs, the program also can write data and ISO discs. The burner supports multiple sessions and can import sessions between projects, and it is possible to change the burning speed. You will find a tool for erasing discs, but that's about the only extra Sun CD/DVD Burner provides. The program totally lacks help files, but more experienced users shouldn't have a problem navigating the amateurish-looking interface. In our tests, the application showed good speed when burning both audio and data CDs, but alas, this watered-down demo only can burn a measly 15MB of files. As such, we're not sure how many people will find this program worth downloading.Publisher's description

Version: Sun CD/DVD Burner 3.10
Pros: This one is the only one that properly installed, run and burned a cd on Windows 98.
All other programs I tested failed to either install or run. Contrary to some claim of 15 MB limitation, it burned 660MB of program files and data files.Cons: Occassionally, I got "illegal operation" or some other errors. It was not possible to set my own volume name.
Summary: Because burning a cd is an infrequent event, this is a useful program especially for Windows 98 users.
