I like Sumatra and carry it everyware , but for a desktop application I find Nitro Pdf reader more usefull as I can edit at the same time.

It's very light unlike adobe reader that takes time to open large files

I hope they add extract, split or merge pdf files and have tabbed bar so i can open 2 or more pdf in one window.

It wasn't exactly what I was looking for, which is fine. But, when I can't get rid of a program, that's unacceptable. There is no uninstall option, and there is even a forum discussion on this at Sumatra's site from 4 months ago, so this is a known issue. Completely unacceptable.

- a functional, minimalistic gui (lacks the toolbar seen in foxit - on that note the are no additional addons, errm . . . ask toolbar )
- command line capablilty :)

Recommended to those who are looking for quality pdf reader to replace insecurities with Adobe reader and foxit reader (and the annoying ask toolbar - understand what you are gonna put on your hard drive and don't install it; its is painless to remove however).
Installation smooth without any glitches or addons
SumatraPDF is an open source application !!
Further, Sumatra can be used to replace the acrobat plugin on IE and Firefox without uninstalling acrobat - just look in the provided "manual"

Quick, clean and simple. Installation is a snap and it works as advertised. No frills, just open and view a PDF. That's exactly what I wanted.
