From CMG Research :Using advanced image processing and character recognition algorithms Sudoku Grab let's you take a picture of a Sudoku puzzle and play it on your iPhone.Just point the camera at a Sudoku puzzle and the Sudoku grab will do the rest for you. First it analyzes the image and calculates the location of the puzzle then it applies an Optical Character Recognition algorithm to recognize the characters. You can then either play the puzzle, solve instantly or store for later.
Note: The "Download Now" link directs you to the iTunes App Store, where you must continue the download process. You must have iTunes installed in order to open the link, and you must have an active iTunes account to download the application. This download may not be available in some countries."

Version: Sudoku Grab 1.3
Pros: The camera grab works as advertised, and makes it possible to take puzzles from newspapers and magazines on the go. Great image processing.
Cons: The actual puzzle mechanic is not quite as intuitive to use as other Sudoku games, and the control placement has my fat fingers sometimes cancelling or getting hints when I don't intend to.
Summary: I think this is a great demonstration of image processing on the iPhone, and a pretty deep, fun sudoku game besides. I didn't think I needed another Sudoku game other than Sudoku Unlimited, but this one changed my mind.
