Version: Style XP 3.19
"If you value looks over performance, try this!"
Pros: It works just like it says that it does. It can change the look of Windows, and it uses that native skinning capabilities in XP, so there is no extra strain on your system. The skins are basic, but they are nice. Customizing is easy using the interface.
Cons: This program can really mess up your computer. I put it on my computer, and after the trial, when I went to uninstall it, not only did it leave traces of itself behind, but it scrambled all of my desktop icons and deleted some as well. That is really unacceptable for a program. Also, nearly every downloadable skin that you can get for it contains spyware or adware. It is not okay to force users to download useless toolbars in order to use the program. And the toolbars the skin download forces you to install will also delete any toolbars that you have previously installed. This program is nice, but try it at your own risk. And do not download any additional skins.

Pros: Nice skinning utility. Looks great, has wonderful customization features for toolbars, etc.
Cons: What is up with the 30 day trial? The download is H-U-G-E, and you only get to run the thing for 30 days? And it has spyware on it. If you want a good theme program for Windows XP, get WindowBlinds. It has a freeware version that actually has enough features in it to let you see what you will get when you pay, if you decide to. And there is no timed trial, so you can use the freeware version as long as you like.

Cons: Spyware included.
It doesn't change all windows visual, sometimes it just input images and other enginee to look like a diferent style that windows does not suport.
Almost all of the features are only for the payed version.
Remember, microsoft didn't made windows to me changes whit this kind of programa!

Pros: this is the best styling softwar out there. i have the dfull version and love it.
my hole xp has changed to my style it is filled with grim reapers and dark objects.
u can download many and many of styles.
easey to use.
always tattoo'd rite to ur task bar.
this software is gr8. 2 thunbs up and a 5 star rating

Pros: Does exactly what it says it does. It can change, visual styles, backgrounds, boot screens, login screens, explorer bar icons, folder icons, and can make most things transparent. It has an entire web page (themexp.org) dedicated to user summited visual styles, icons...ect. It is easy to use even for beginners. It can easily make ur comp look like a mac or vista/longhorn.
Cons: But i would advise you don't use this application even when it sounds so good. It can screw ur entire comp. First of, it is possible for this thing to screw up. It can accidentally delete ur themes, visual styles, icons, and the boot screens can screw ur computer all together. Second, themexp.org, the dedicated web page has a section that basically admits they put adware on some of the downloads to get cash. I have also found that when installing some files from themexp.org, antivirus programs will detect adware in the file before u even install it. Third is its a rip. I have used the 30 day trial on many computers. I managed to do everything that this application can do manually. It may be hard for beginners to figure out how to do it manually but if you look instructions up in google you can do it without any trouble. Fourth, uninstallation...... It sucks. After accidentally uninstalling unsuccesfully, error messages pop up saying you have problems with your system files and sometimes the start bar freezes. I only managed to fix this problem on my comp by using system restore.
