"Cool Program!"

Pros
The seemingly long list of features that this software provides and the limited use of the system resources are huge pros compared to other softwares that do similar things.
Cons
Although there are a lot of additional themes and skins available at certain online sources, other softwares just have a bigger following thus a bigger set of available add-ons.
The program also does not properly deal with skinning some applications. The buttons bar (new, open, save, cut, etc.) within these certain applications take up much more height (almost twice the normal). Other softwares deal with these cases better, plus they also provide "per application" skinning that gives better control and means to get past this minor annoyance.

"Comprehensive & Cool"

It seems to be almost idiot-proof and makes more comprehensive changes to the system displays than a traditional theme. I did not have any spyware/adware/malware, etc. associated with the program. That being said...
Cons
If you downloaded visual styles from ThemeXP.org, which has a huge variety of styles to choose from, as I did, you will probably be forced to download things like the Accoona Toolbar and New.net, among other things. Please look up what New.net or NewDotNet can do to your computer. The website clearly states that some of the author's allowed them to "wrap" their files to help them keep their costs down. It does not state specifically what you will be forced to download though. IMHO, this problem cannot be attributed to the Style XP program and should not be the reason for negative critiques.

There are, indeed, many possibilities.
Cons
The possibilities suck. I recommend Window Blinds, you can keep the free version as long as you please and its a lot more sleek. This app takes pics and puts them in random places, window blinds gives you lots of other options. Loaded with spyware...I screwed up a good comp with this one. If you love your PC dont dl this one.

I initially just installed the product so I could download logins, themes, etc. from another website which had great things created by other people for free. The only catch is you have to download this program. Well I figured I would download to get what I wanted and then delete it. It worked, I could download the programs and they were wonderful.
Cons
The one thing is that they insist that you download all their advertising programs, but they tell you that if you decide that you don't want these things, you can go to add/remove programs and delete them. Well, after I got the whole thing set up, I went to do that and I couldn't open that up. The darn thing had disabled that connection, giving me a parser error in line 521. I had to delete the whole program and lose all the themes and things in order to get the use of my computer back. A grand waste of time and a total lie! I would not advise this for anyone who actually wants to use their computer, but if you really would have the themes instead of complete control of your computer, be my guest.

I THOUGHT THE PRODUCT WAS FINE, I ENJOYED USING IT, AFTER THE TRIAL I PAID FOR A FULL VERSION, AND HAVE YET TO GET A REGISTRATION KEY TO UNLOCK THE TRIAL VERSION. TGT SOFT WILL NOT ANSWER MY EMAILS REQUESTING MY REGISTRATION KEY OR A REFUND IF THEY ARE UNABLE TO SEND ME A REGISTRATION KEY, BUT THEY WERE SURE QUICK TO TAKE MY MONEY !!!!!!!!

majority of themes and program is loaded with spyware ..for those of you that says there is no spyware you need to read the liscene agreement and read there main webpage you will see very quick that you are wrong they tell you blunt enough ...who would pay for a spyware anything ???
if you like to change your themes i suggest you do a google to learn how to patch your windows to use themes without this..download the themes that are zipped and stay away from the installer ones...this works for i am using all the themes i want free and spyware free no app needed.

Easy to use! A lot of features. Makes your Windows XP not to look so obselete.
I saw someone mentioning the download to be huge. The reason why it's big is due to all themes. Themes can be downloaded at ThemeXP's website.
Downloading themes and other stuff at this website is risky. There's a risk of infecting your computer with malicious files. I've got more than 200 themes and so far no spywares or adwares. I've used McAfee AntiSpyware 2005, Lavasoft Ad-Ware Professional and SpyBot Search & Destroy for scanning and none of them found spywares in context with Style XP.
(PS! I'm using a purchased version.)

The only bad thing I can come up with is that I must re-apply the transparency after startup.

I didn't detected no one spyware or viruses. I works fine on my pc. It gave my XP incredible looks(there are various themes each one more beautiuful them the other). In fact, it is a very sofisticated program!!! GREETINGS FROM BRASILIA!
