Version: Stuffit Standard Edition 11.02
Pros: Aforementioned tools do not look integrated. most of what they do can be done by control click of a a file or directory and choosing "Create Archive".
UI is blotted.
Unix tar files? people who exchange files with Unix folks do use command line.
Preview? There is Zipeg which is free for Mac and Windows and does it a lot better.

"Stuffit works great on my macbook seemlessly."
Pros: I like how stuffit automatically takes care of my zipped files and make them ready for me to use. works very smoothly.
