"TOO MANY BUGS"
Version: StudyX 5.5.11
Pros
free to try
Cons
lots and lots and lots of bugs. Program freezes on some functions. Window doesn't fit properly on the screen. Some of the games are really absurd.
Summary
this program is full of bugs and really is not ready to be sold to anyone; Nobody should pay any money for this whatsoever.

"Waste of Money"
Version: StudyX 5.5.6
Pros
Neat idea.
Cons
Poor execution! Every once in awhile the system exits on its own. This is inexcusable. I am running the software on Windows 7 and it does not seem compatible as it states. The Text runs together and the windows are too small for the content.
Summary
Don't waste your money on this software. A friend and I tried the trial and hated it. It cost us precise study time. I'll stick with reading the material over again or finding a better study software.

"The Best Study software"
Version: StudyX 5.5.4
Pros
When when you create a question and just place true or false on the answer...it automatically turns it into a true of false question. Same goes for numbers. Customer service has always been great. Anytime I had questions with the software.
Cons
Should have purchased this a long time ago
Summary
I don't understand the negative comments about this software. I've used it several times and now using it for a promotional exam. After using this software, I retain up to 100 question with answers within two hours. This software isn't just a flashcard software, it creates multiple choice questions and games. I've used other study software and this has been the best.

"Amazing!! Very easy to use and bend to any study need."
Version: StudyX 4.1
Pros
Love the look and and the ease of the program. Makes me actually want to get on and study. Amazing layout and options. Ability to actually create my own tests and flash cards to study for my tests. Games built in to keep it fresh and fun.
Cons
In college now would have helped those couple of D's I got in grade school if I found earlier, but I did turn my 2 younger brothers on to it and they love it.
Summary
This program is VERY well planned out to cater to all ages and skill sets. I have been using for about a month and I cant express in words how much it has and will help in the future. I am teaching my younger brother to use and sent a copy to my other brother who is in high school they both use it and love it. Even when your putting in your Questions and Answers for the first time your start the leaning then its all fun and games from there on out. The games are very well laid out, and you can even network multiple computers and play against each other in a few of them. I also love the updates and the attention the creators put into it they take all suggestions into account and if it is a positive change they do what they can to make sure it gets put into the latest release of the program. All i can say is thanks for taking the time to make something like this one of a kind and all around great program.

Easy to use.
Pretty buttons / colors.
Keeps things organizedCons
Didn't find it sooner
Summary
I'll admit, science was never my best subject. So when i took biology last semester, I looked for a product to help me learn all the scientific terms and various definitions and stumbled upon study x here on cnet. I am happy that i did as it definitely helped me pass that class. (I only got a b, but I'd hate to know what it would have been had i not used study x)

"This program did not have an "uninstall" available."
Version: StudyX 2.3
Pros
Well... it was easy to download.
Cons
There was not an "uninstall" option available.
The "no save" restriction would not allow me to try the program with information that I had entered.
I quit at this point and moved on.
