Version: StudyMinder Homework System 2
"This is just a free 30 day trial version and it is silly!"
Pros: If you want to buy this after your 30 day trial period, then it is your funeral. It is basically just a student planner "come to life." I can see, however, how it would help someone with ADD and that is about it.
Cons: I really do not think this is user friendly at all and it does things that most folks know how to do themselves and it also does things that most schools provide for you (like your gpa).
This is only a trial version and I just really think an old fashioned datebook is better.

You are exactly right about StudyMinder. It is "a student planner come to life," just like you said. What is not clear is why you think this is a bad thing.
You are wrong to say "an old fashioned datebook is better." Some older people still feel that way about computers and software. But for students today, the computer is their primary tool for communicating, writing and researching. Having their homework schedule in a dynamic, electronic format on their computer just makes sense. An electronic homework management tool like StudyMinder is critical for students to stay on top of their busy schedules. How else can you organize 4 to 8 classes per week with assignments and tests in each class?
If a pencil and paper where enough, then every student would be an "A" student. Clearly that is not the case.
As for the features, every one of the homework features, without exception, are available to use and evaluate during the 30 day trial period. The Tasks and Events features are in the registered version, along with printing capability. Everything else is fully functional.
StudyMinder also includes free support, even during the trial period. So after you have downloaded and installed the program, feel free to use the support form at the StudyMinder website if you have any questions at all.
