"To uninstall, manually remove the dll. (excuse me?)"
Version: Streamripper for Winamp 1.61
Cons
Didn't do what I was looking for, but had NO WAY TO UNINSTALL it. Heck, I still haven't found out how to unplug the 'plug-in'. Launches for MP3 downloads, which I believe are 'non-streaming' events.

"Easy to use, great results, no crap attatched."
Version: Streamripper for Winamp 1.61
Pros
You can download while listening to your own playlist if you like, or while listening to the stream you are downloading from. You can designate the download folder for wherever you like, not to some kind of generic folder. Nothing to complain about at all, and its FREE.

Version: Streamripper for Winamp 1.61
Summary
Excellent program and it continues to amaze me at every turn. Very simple procedure of just clicking start to record and there you go. It conviently creates a folder for the staion you are recording from and within that folder there is an incomplete one for unfinished songs. Excellent program and best of all its free.

"integrated with Winamp, free"
Version: Streamripper for Winamp 1.61
Summary
Saves the music you listen to via internet radio as MP3 files on your hard disk. That's sweet (especially if you have an iPod or similar).
You go to shoutcast.com, choose your radio, and a little window comes up. Click on Start, that's all. You can listen to other streams if you have broadband.
