"This app freed me from 3M Post-It Notes"
Pros
I found Digital Post-It Notes from 3M to be problematic. It took forever to load at boot-up and sometimes hung on shutdown. Further, for the money you spend there is no support and no updates.
Sticky Notes had all the features I was used to and loads in a flash. A few features aren't completely intuitive (like changing fonts for a specific note) but they're there.
The author, Igor, is very supportive and can be reached at his email link in the "About Sticky Notes Link" in the menu.
A feature not available in the 3M program is the ability to have multiple alarms for a note. Very handy is you want to be reminded to send in estimated tax payments to Uncle Sam, and things like this.

I would like to have an icon in the note to indicate an alarm was set. Would also like to be able to edit the alarm. It's necessary to delete the alarm and add a new one. Not a big deal, but would be very handy.
Summary
There aren't a whole lot of programs available to replace the function of 3M Post-It Notes if you like this approach to remembering things. This is a good one and FREE is a very low price.
