"Program just crashes."
Version: StepMania 3.9
Pros
Didn't even get a chance to use it.
Cons
I have a new computer with good specs on it. When I try and run this software my screen goes to black & my computer just freezes up. I can't even turn the power off, had to uplug & plug it back in. Unless you really know what you're doing I'd beware of this one.

"Best DDR/ITG/PUI simulator out there!"
Version: StepMania 3.9
Pros
Stepmania is a great simulator for fans of the Dance Dance Revolution, In The Groove or Pump It Up series as it brings it to your computer!
It supports multiple formats & multiple games (more to be added in future versions), so it becomes a one-stop gaming machine!
Players can download songs & play them or make their own & get creative! You could even share songs you've made with the world (assuming you don't violate copyrights).
Cons
The only downside to this is that it's pretty much a "Do-it-yourself" program as it doesn't include anything but the basics. You have download everything you want (Songs, themes, ect.) & install them.
If the sites don't use the .smzip (Stepmania Package) format, it can be a pain for new & inexperienced users... but this is a minor issue.

"Legendary dance game"
Version: StepMania 3.9
Pros
Very similar to existing playstation and x-box dance games except it is for pc so more stuff can be added and customized, compatible with a huge variety of USB dance mats and Playstation and x-box dance mats through adaptors. Huge variety of songs, themes, characters, backgrounds and announcers available across the net and from the stepmania website
Cons
None realy except the core program doesnt come with any songs but they can be found on the stepmania site

"Hilarious and Entertaining"
Version: StepMania 3.9
Pros
This is a computer versioned remake of the well-known Dance Dance Revolution for Xbox and PS2. It is extremely identical to those versions, and there are many packages of songs you can download from the internet. It's all free is what's best :) It's fun to play and obviously entertaining.
Cons
Wow, there's really nothing I DON'T like about this game.

"AWESOME DDR Simulator!!!"
Version: StepMania 3.9
Pros
Very easy to install. Can create songs from any mp3 file (you can download thousands of them (and submit your own) at BemaniStyle (need to register at the forums first, though)). Interface looks just like the real DDR. Tons of options when playing. Compatible with many dance pads via USB cable.

"Can download any song from available list"
Version: StepMania 3.9
Pros
The creator of this game did not make any songs but has left people to make thier own. After downloading this, you can download .zip files of mp3 songs that you like. At least somewhere on the net you can find the song your looking for.
Other than that amazing feature, the controls and graphics are good. Sound is farely good, especially for a small-sized program. Small download (although song doanloads can add up if you get too many), easy instal. Recommended over DDR or any other dance game.
Cons
Songs do take up a lot space on harddrive, more than an actual mp3 file. Also installation of songs is more difficult for a beginner PC user.
