Well, Stellar Phoenix is really a very good photo recovery software and worked really good for. After getting preview of my photos from free version i was satisfied and then purchased the software and further recovered all my photos and videos successfully.

Recovered my MOV files. Created JPG, MOV MTS etc folders to sort the recovered files not just one big mess of 1000s of files in one folder. Let me do the recovery in steps (first MOV then JPG) without having to rescan.

Summary
I tried 5 different programs as well as bringing my SD card to a pro recovery place!! Nothing helped until I got this program. Other programs found some files but didn't name them so I didn't know if they were MTS, MOV JPG etc. Or if they would even work. This program saved me! I got the files back. Thanks!

The Best Software my hard drive was completely erased tried almost everything nothing worked,Stellar did the magic thumbs up 2 you got ALL MY VIDEOS AND PICS BACK. IDK how to thank the genius simply can say u R the greatest 4 me & 110% worth it!!

The free version showed me all the files and folders i've looking for, but after download them... they were all corrupted.
Dont buy it even if you can see what you want in free version.

I used the trial version to see what can be recovered from an external HD that I accidentally reformatted. I tried a couple programs and this is the only one that "claims" that it found most of my files. Although this app cost a lot more than some of the other applications, I went ahead and purchased. It copied my files to my computer but none of them can be opened. I tried different files of different types, pdf, mp3, xls, etc, and none of them can be opened. Even txt files are corrupted. Out of the 40GB of data that it recovered, I didn't find a single file that's not corrupted.
Bottom line, it's ok if it tells you that it cannot recover your files, but I think it's wrong to claim that it can recover your files, lures you to buy the software and only get corrupted files back. -

No customer support at all. Phone lines puts you into a loop and never answers. doesnt answer e-mails either!

Do not purchase this. No customer support, No e-mail support, does not work. Boottom line, do not waste your money on this program!

It did show recent photos that have been deleted and the videos I lost by accidently deleting them and it did retrieve them

However the videos were not whole they were cut up into different sections

I at least got them back and I can try to work with them somehow. I tend to chop up my videos anyways, but for someone who wants the whole thing ... this might be a problem. It is not free. Cost 50 bucks. And if the reviews that they wont give money back then Ill keep it in case I delete again.... ZERO ASSUPTION IS FREE...AND DOES RECOVER YOUR PICTURES!!! However it had problems recovering my videos.
